	Over the next few months we will be selecting images that represent Sandpoint and our unique character. These images will be available as framed prints and will also be featured in a book to be produced at the end of 2008. Sandpoint has many unique artists which are important for the well being of individuals and communities. Art can provide discovery, stimulation, relaxation and sometimes financial benefit. People are drawn to the arts not for their instrumental effects, but because the arts can provide them with meaning and with a distinctive type of pleasure and emotional stimulation.
