  The Art of
      CATHERINE EARLE

Catherine Earle was born and raised in Southern France. She grew up surrounded by the lights and colors of the province. At the age of sixteen she was accepted at the Beaux Arts, national School of France, being the youngest student enrolled. The Beaux arts were teaching the school Dushamp, which stressed individual expression toward the creation of art.

Catherine's paintings have a sinous, soft sensual beauty which is very appealing to the eyes. Her technique is called wet on wet. She soaks the paper with water and begins painting with a wet brush. As the first color is laid down a moving story with unlimited colors and forms unfolds. Catherine believes in the energetic power of colors, which in turn allows the viewer to bring in their own personal creative imagination to the piece.
